Dallas Real Estate Agent - 2 Years In The Business
By Alex
August 26, 2016

I have been a Dallas Real Estate Agent for 2 years now.  It has been so much fun.  I learn something new everyday.  A lot has changed from the time I started 2 years ago.  Home values have gone up, mortgage rates have risen a little, price per square foot on apartments has gone to $2.00 a square foot, and I have gone from a newbie to a Top Real Estate Agent.  I had no idea what my first years as a real estate agent would be, but it has been quite the ride.

Real Estate is the only career for me.  Sure I am still pursuing a little modeling on the side, I like to song write, and am considering teaching some kind of fitness classes on the weekends.  Thats one of the great things about this career.  I spend 100% of my time focused on real estate, but I'm still allowed the time and freedom to do other things.  I am busy with clients most days.  Some days I have work until noon or so and then Im off the rest of the day, or I'll have clients all week and get to have a long 4 day weeekend before hitting the grind again.  Yesterday I spend 5 hours doing marketing mailers and was done by 3pm.  I had the rest of the day to enjoy myself.  I am my own boss.  I wouldn't have it any other way.  However, coming up next week I have to start 98 hours of schooling to renew my license.  As a new REALTOR you have to do 98 hours of continued education in your first 2 years.  Then its less hours of continued education at the end of every year.  As much as I hate homework, I am excited to take the next step in my career.

There are a lot of Real Estate Agents that quit after a few months, days, years of being a REALTOR.  I have been through the rough times and still have the ups and downs of staying busy.  That is all part of the business.  I find myself becoming more creative with marketing, getting motivated with each client, setting goals for myseld, and so much more.  It gives me hope to know that I am running my own business and haven't fallen flat on my face yet.  I am truly blessed and am happy to have found this career path.  I almost moved back to Mississippi and was going to start my own skin care businesss...so glad I didnt make that decision.  Instead I took a chance on something different.  It has been one of the best decisions in my life.  Call me for all your buying and selling needs.

Relocation REALTOR...From Sunny Miami To Dallas TX
By Alex
August 21, 2016

I just spent 4 days on vacation in Miami.  It was truly the trip of a lifetime!  It was nice to get a little break from all the busy Dallas Real Estate.  Things are about to get even busier with the school year starting.  Bring it on!  I do have to admit that while I was in Miami all I noticed was the amazing views of the ocean and the all the real estate.  Miami has so many water front condos and homes that just blew me away.  All I could think about was how beautiful it was.  I was in heaven.

Dallas homes for sale are a lot different than Miami homes for sale.  However, I can help anyone locating to Miami from Dallas or from Miami to Dallas.  That is the wonderful thing about being a Real Estate Agent.  I work all over the world by relocating families.  It is a fun job when relocating someone.  Dallas and Miami are two completley different places to live.  They both have their perks tho.  Dallas is laid back, well maintained, and growing out of control.  You can get amazing street tacos and catch an awesome band on a friday night.  Miami is sunny, beautiful beaches, tanned bodies, and tons of condos that line the water line.  Miami is a great option for someone to have a second home in.  Perhaps a nice condo to have a week long get away in.  Dallas has a great economy and is a great place to raise a family.

As a REALTOR in Dallas I am eager to relocate you and your family anywhere you want to go.  We can ship your cars, pack your boxes, find you a home, crate your animals, and get you to your final destination.  Coldwell Banker and I can do anything for you.  We can take care of all your moving services.  Call me for all your buying and selling needs.

Sell Your Dallas Home...Summer Is Coming To An End
By Alex
August 9, 2016

Sell your Dallas home.  Summer is coming to an end in Dallas.  A lot of families have been on vacation, lounging by the pool, and in and out of summer camp with their children.  There are always a lot of people at the begining of summer that call me to sell their home, but after a week or so they put everything on hold because of their schedules.  Things are slowly coming to an end and children are starting to go back to school.  Now is the time to reconsider listing your home for sale.

Summer can always be a little exciting and crazy.  In Dallas it is hot and humid.  There are a lot of homes for sale, but this time of the year is a nice little sweet spot for real estate.  Homes listed at the beginning of summer have now been on the market for a few months and are about to expire.  A lot of people that have not found a home to buy yet are getting frustrated with the inventory and are ready to pull the trigger fast on any new homes entering the market.  At the same token families are wanting to move fast on something so they don't have to deal with the hastle of moving while children are too invested in school with exams and holiday breaks.  This means that your home can be more desireable.  Now that traveling has come to an end this will give you more time to focus on selling your home.  As your REALTOR I will take care of everything for you, and we will be able to look at homes for you to potentially buy after yours is sold.  The market has slowed down ever so slightly that you may not have to worry about getting into bidding wars.

The truth of the matter is that anytime is a good time to sell your home.  I always tend to get more and more phone calls from people wanting to buy or sell their home this time of the year.  Its time to get your home ready to sell.  Holidays are right around the corner and just as people want to buy a home before school starts, now they are wanting to focus on getting a home before the holidays start.  Call me for all your buying and selling needs.
