Parks Are On The Rise In Dallas And It Is Getting Some Serious Attention By Amazon HQ2!

So I love Dallas.  It is the best place to live...I mean we all know I am a little partial to Dallas.  Well, maybe I am a lot partial to Dallas.  I have live here for 6 years and each year I fall a little more in love with the city.  In the years to come there are some serious things going on the city.  They are mean, green, and popping up all over town.  Mainly in the Downtown area of Dallas.  I'm not talking about the Dallas Stars in their green jerseys or even talking about all the people that were in their green and flooding the streets this past St.Pattys Day.  I do love those teams.  I am talking about parks.  Not just any park, but over 6 new parks are being built in and around Downtown Dallas.

Having lush green parks are a part of every city.  It is what make a city a city.  Could you imagine NYC without Central Park?  I think not.  People love to walk in them, play with their dogs in them, grab lunch with friends, go on a date, and in general they can make a concrete jungle look pretty.  Dallas has some great architecture, but a park is a very important part in the pulse of a city.  It gives a city their identity.  Clyde Warren Park in Dallas was a huge hit.  There really was nothing quite like it.  Not just from a landscaping standpoint, but even from the way it was constructed over the interstate.  Other then Clyde Warren you have not much else.  Sure you have Katy Trail, but that isn't even in Downtown.  It goes through uptown and only touches Victory Park area.  So what gives?  We are one of the best places to live in the U.S., but we have got to get with the program.  Story has it that Boeing noticed the lack of parks and gave Dallas the snub years back when they were scouting sites for their next headquarters.  There were many moving parts of course, but one of their wants was a great downtown area with parks lush parks.  Needless to say we didn't make the cut and Dallas cried as they moved to Chicago which has a beautiful Downtown.

Dallas is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S.  The economy is strong.  Headquarters move to the DFW Metroplex non-stop.  I have beem swamped with relocating families to Dallas.  It is an endless story.  Our business sector attracts new talent every day, and I am always eager to help relocate them.  Also, homes values are steadily on the incline.  On average every year we have home values go up about 10%.  Our city truly is amazing.  Yet, Dallas is lacking parks.  We need to add more parks.  People are literally begging for them.  We have so many hip millenials moving to Dallas in the business sector, and they love to be outdoors even under our beautiful skyline.  Reports have shown that Amazon is looking very closely at Dallas right now for the home of their next HQ2.  Even a little further, I heard on good authority that there is a secret Top 3 Pick List for Amazon and Dallas is on it!  Go figure they are looking at our downtown area for the possible site.  Best believe the developers of all these beautiful parks coming up are pitching them at every city council meeting.   They need to put it in high gear if we want to be the best city in the world and attract Amazon HQ2!  You can click here to find more about a few of the parks.  Call me for all your buying and selling needs.
