End Of The Year Buyers And Sellers In Dallas Giving The Real Estate Market A Boost!

        Love is in the air.  Well mayber just real estate is in the air.  It is the end of the year and buyers are buying.  Also, sellers are listing their homes for next year.  At a time when real estate is slow for the holidays, there sure is a lot of activity.  Last minute home sales before 2018! 

        It is no secret that interest rate hikes are putting some buyers on the fence.  The market has seen a drastic slow in DFW.  The time of the year doesn't help much either, but it doesn't mean that rolling up your sleeves won't get you some big results before the year is over! 

        In the past 7 days I have put 2 listings into escrow and am working on hopefully putting 2 more on that list.  December has always proved as a big year, but this year could be the biggest ever.  A lot of that has to do with pricing my homes right, setting expectations for my sellers, and spending a little extra hard earned cash on marketing.  It's called sweat equity.  Not to mention that I have some builders getting ready to list their new homes next with...hopefully...me.  I am still trying to close those deals.  Actually, I am trying to close all of them.

        Christmas signals the end of the year.  It also signals last minute buyers.  Not to mention that people are feeling a little more cheerful.  So don't go on vacation if you are a Dallas REALTOR!  Hustle!  Zero closing before the New Year can turn into 1 or more!  Heck, maybe 6 deals!  Just keep at it.  Give it one last swing before taking a little time for yourself and then repeat. 

        Real Estate never sleeps!  Sure we had a slow down, but next year looks promising with interest rates leveling out.  Also, new tax laws be in full force too.  There could very well be a big incline despite values not being as high as they have been year over year.  Doesn't mean there isn't going to being lots of deals made.  Just get ready for and make the most of it!  Call me for all your buying and selling needs!
