One of the hottest new neighborhoods in Dallas has sold another luxury home at lightning speed! Greenway Park or Inwood Park, as some builders are calling it, is booming right now with some of the top new construction homes in Dallas.
7714 Roper Street just went under contract for full price in 5 weeks of being on the market. That is a leap considering most of DFW has seen a slow. It was no easy task, but having an amazing home with a competitive price helped. Not to mention that I spent all my spare time as much as possible marketing this home. I even did a little stagging myself.
Greenway Park is a haven for builders to pick homes to tear down and build anew. This area is right between the neighborhood of Bluffview and Park Cities. So it is a prime area. It is a 5 minute drive to Love Field Airport and walking distance to all the shopping you could ever need. Now, it is a transitional area, but it is very charming and safe. Most of the neighbors stop in during an Open House and they are all very pleasant. Just beacause an area look a little run down doesn't mean that it is not a good area. It actually means that there is tons of potential. That is how you get a breath taking home at such a good price and build equity over time.
At $899,000, Roper, was a luxury priced home. However, it was still priced below market value. With almost a quarter acre of land, 4 beds, 3 baths, 2 car garage, and 3,720 sq ft, this was a steal. I valued the home at $950,000 but we wanted to sell fast. There is no doubt as more new luxury homes are built that the home will balloon over a million dollars in the next few years. I picture 1.1M in about 2 years. This is exciting for the new buyers.
Greenway Park is still producing some of the hottest homes in Dallas. I am honored that I get to be one of the Top Real Estate Agents working the area.
