By now everyone has heard the news about Uber moving more then 3,000 employees to Dallas with their huge new HQ relocating to The Lone Star State! And if you didn't then now you know!
This is going to be huge for Dallas and for the Real Estate Market here. We already have a strong market. One of the best in the nation, but now homes near the site should see increased activity and value.
Every couple of months it seems like DFW is getting a new coorperate relocation announced. However, DFW is very larege and most of those are in cities like Plano or Frisco. So this is a big move for central Dallas. Mainly Deep Ellum area or East Dallas. Only time will tell how this will affect us as Real Estate Agents.
I work East Dallas a lot. My office is only about 10 minutes from Ubers new HQ. Recently, I have been trying to work more of the neighborhoods close to my office. It is very competitive tho. It should come to no surprise that I can do anything that I set my mind to. I not only have one new listing near the new Uber site, but I actually have 3! And with a new 20 unit townhome project coming in the bordering Cedars neighborhood over the next 2 years! So things are about to heat up.
My most recent listings are "The Alton's" at 5509 & 5511 Alton Avenue, Dallas TX 75214. They are gorgeous new construction townhomes only 5 minutes from Uber! Not only that, but they are some of the best craftsmanship that I have had the pleasure of listing. And I work with a lot of new construction. Both units are priced very well at only $529,000 a piece with 3 beds, 2.1 baths, 2,630 sq ft, a large backyard, epoxy 2 car garage, a study, gas fireplace, and so much more! Not a single thing was unthought of. The builder crafted the trype of home that he would want to live in.
These units just hit the market a few days ago. Activity has been non-stop. It would be nice to have some tech worker snap them up. We shall see tho. Not only are they close to Uber, but they are moments away from Lakewood, Lower Greenville, and Deep Ellum. It doesn't get better then that! I am so grateful to list another amazing project! I can't wait to see how Uber affects the surronding areas near it! Call me for all your buying and selling needs.
