With the changing seasons comes a slow real estate market. In the current climate of high interest rates...well it gets even slower. Truth be told, sellers are losing their cool a little. REALTORS are too tho.
Homes are not selling as fast as they once were. Buyers are being more particular about homes. So something has to give as everyone is watching and waiting for a real estate miracle to happen. After such a hot market this takes some getting use to. Things will get better, but what do we do in the mean time? Do home owners and REALTORS just roll over and die? Of course not. This is the time when renting comes into play. More so, leasing.
No one wants their home to sit on the market. That is money lost. Casual sellers cannot afford to list a home to see what happens or what equity they can make. They have to save that for an "up market". The market is currently trending down. It will pick up. So the homeowners that are selling right now are doing so because of things like job relocations. Hopefully, the homes sells fast and all is well. What do we do tho when it doesn't? That is when leasing comes into play.
There are a lot of logistics when moving or relocating. In most cases you are planning on turning around and buying a new home. If you can lease your current home out for a year while the market picks up then you could save money in the long run. More Coming Soon...
