2017 isn't over yet and luxury homes sales are still on the rise. Million Dollar Listings aren't just for celebrity Realtors on Bravo TV. They are being listed here in Dallas. With rising prices comes higher price tags. This means listing luxury homes are up for grabs and being on top of the market is important. You have to strike while the iron is hot whether you are a buyer or a seller or a Realtor. Miss the boat and you risk missing out on equity. Doesn't everyone want more money?
Whether you like our current President, Donald Trump, or not one thing is for sure. Markets are hot and hitting all time highs. People are hopeful, but in the flash of an eye it can all change. Nothing lasts for ever tho. All good things come to an end. That includes market values. Your home is one of your most valuable assets. If you live in Dallas then you know that what was once the home that no one wanted is now the home that people are literally fighting to get their hands on. This puts homeowners at an advantage. They can price their home higher then they could have ever imagined and watch their bank accounts get a few extra zeros. Neighborhoods in Dallas are being dotted with more and more million dollar and luxury listings.
Dallas is changing. The DFW Metroplex is growing as areas are becoming over saturated. This is making your commute to work longer, but you can get a mini mansion at a reasonable price in surrounding cities. Eventually, we will be considered one of the most expensive places to live in the U.S. It is a domino effect starting at the center of Dallas and slowly moving out. Places like Frisco are still boasting luxury homes, but the price per sqaure foot is still a ways away from Dallas. We still sit at around $300 a square foot for a luxury home in Dallas, but on average around $140 a square foot for a luxury home in Frisco or Plano. The only thing is that Plano and Frisco is full of new homes so they are built much larger then here in Dallas. So if you live in anyone of those cities then you literally are sitting on a gold mine. This is why more then ever you have to pay attention to the housing market and talk to a Realtor to see how to make your next move. Call me for all your buying and selling needs.
